Puppies

On occasion we may have puppies available to loving, caring permanent homes.  We look for committed show and pet homes.  Here are a couple of things you should know about buying a puppy or adult dog from us.

All puppies are sold on co-ownerships and on limited registration- No exceptions.  I brought these puppies into this world so therefore I remain responsible for them as long as they shall live.  Co-ownerships help make sure that nothing happens to this puppy without my knowledge.  Microchips also remain in my name, So if any puppy or adult dog is lost, sold, surrendered I am first contact.  This does not give me rights to your pet, nor do I interfere in your life.  BUT it does give me peace of mind if something bad were to happen.  Just look for IGs in shelters, currently there are hundreds!!

Puppies that are sold as show prospects are sold with the idea that they will eventually be bred.  Co-ownerships may be lifted after the said dog/bitch has obtained an american or canadian championship and has passed all pertinent health clearances.  If show puppies have not obtained a championship title by the time they are three years old then it is assumed the the dog is not of breed quality and so must not be bred.  It is highly recommended that any offspring from my breeding also be sold on co-ownerships only.

Our breeding program does not and will not ever serve to promote the senseless breeding of dogs by puppy mills or back yard breeders.  The only way that we can prevent that from happening is to have control of the situation.  We breed to preserve the breed for future generations.  We are passionate about temperament and health and strive to create a stable and sound Italian Greyhound.

Some things that are necessary for a Shaeden IG.

Fenced yard at least 5 feet high

 A Raw feeding program

Positive and operant obedience training

Knowledge of the breed and breed experience (preferable)

Alternative health minded

Patience, patience and more patience
