It looks like spring is finally on it's way.  Thankfully I am able to get outside again and resume our walks,  the dogs had about started to loss their minds!!  The first few walks with the whole crew were a little rambunctious to say the least somuch so that I had to leave the Iggies at home for fear they would be trampled in all the excitement.  Everybody has since settled down and we are all walking together again.  COME ON shows!!  I have just about enough money saved for my new van.  I have been completely lost without it.  The dogs are even more put out since I can only fit one or two in the truck with me!

It is a long winter and according to the ground hog we still have 6 weeks of it left!  We are working on our second issue of Dogs...Naturally! Magazine which will be out in March.

With working nearly 18 hours a day trying to get this venture off the ground,  I have decided that it is time to let some of my rescues, fosters and puppies find fabulous new homes.  It is hard to let them go but with nearly 20 dogs, my zoo keeping duties have taken it's toll!!

Wow well the new year has come in with a big BANG!  We launched our very first issue of a brand new magazine called Dogs...Naturally! A magazine dedicated to the preservation of the responsible breeder!  We promote raw feeding and natural rearing but importantly we are committed to change the public's current view of breeders.  Hopefully with the education of the public we can reduce and eliminate puppy mills and back yard breeders while preserving the integrity of the hobby breeder.  Be sure and check it out http://www.dogsnaturallymagazine.com/

January 24th 2010 - One of our Iggy family members went off to a home of her own yesterday.  We were sad to see Abby leave but we are very happy for her new owners.  She is a special pup and they are very lucky to have her come live with them.  She is pretty lucky too!

Christmas has come and gone with a few annoyances.  We hit a deer with my show van and totalled it!  Of course I owed more than it's worth so I have no show van!  Always pleasant.  Most importantly no one was hurt.

The weather has been very cold and the IGs haven't been liking that much.  We have started more handling training with the up an comings.  I will be happy to get Cookie back in the show ring.

Look for our new ad coming out in the Italian Greyhound magazine.  It is the centerfold.  I'm looking forward to seeing it.

Erika of Redangel Bordeaux has some exciting plans in the works. 2 breedings are planned.  One will be the result of imported semen from a very highly regarded kennel in Europe!   Shhhh it's a secret.   We'll let you know more when the pregnancy is confirmed!   We should expect puppies from both Bridget and Brooklyn sometime in Feb. 2010!!

I am very excited to announce that Nike will be moving in with us this coming month.  We will get Nike out in the spring to finish his AKC championship.

Alo - Our Doberman puppy from Ruth and Randy of Legendary kennels is growing like a weed and is stunning!  He is loving his raw feeding and is healthy and robust without his vaccines!!

We currently have a purebreed Raw fed/Vaccine free Border Collie puppy available to a great home!

Stay tuned for the first edition of our NRBA newsletter to be coming out in January 2010.  Myself and Dana Scott of Fallriver Labradors in Canada will be the editors of the newsletter. We will be striving for a full colored magazine with some very interesting and thought provoking articles.

Congrats go out to Pat Anders and Gus of Belcanto IGs.  Pikops Intrigue at Belcanto "Gus" finished his AM Championship!!  Yay Gus!  Gus is our Doc's daddy.

October 22 2009 - The Launch of a brand new website specifically for our IGs.

Doc and Cookie both pass their annual Cerf at the Rapid city show clinic.  Oct 18th 2009

Dede wins back to back majors in Colorado!!!  She only needs 3 singles to finish!

Doc wins winners dog and best of opposite 3 out 4 days in CO and again in UTAH and now has 7 points!!  ( see photo above )

Some news of the past.  Doc and Cookie had their first litter of puppies on April 17th 2009.  3 girls and 2 boys.  They are just over 6 months now and are all potentially show quality puppies.  We have decided to hold on to them all to watch their progress.
